The unique ensemble of musicians from ten Baltic Sea countries – Baltic Sea Philharmonic – in collaboration with Sunbeam Productions will transform the Emirates Palace with lighting, sound design and cutting-edge projection art to create a world that’s visual as well as musical. Waterworks marks the start of a radical new approach to presenting orchestral music.
Performance will include Philip Glass’s Aguas da Amazonia and a supercharged version of Handel’s Water Music. Emirati singer Jasim Mohamed Abdullah will make a guest appearance with the orchestra, performing a special arrangement of the song ‘Sayyidi ya sayyed sadati’.
