For the first time in the Middle East, the performance of the Alvin Ailey company will take place from 4th to 6th of October, 2018 at the Dubai Opera.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is the most popular modern dance company in the world. Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation is the umbrella organization that supports the activities of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey II, The Ailey School, Ailey Arts In Education & Community Programs and The Ailey Extension.

Nominated Cultural Ambassador to the World by President Barack Obama. The Ailey company has gone on to perform for an estimated 25 million people at theatres in 48 states and 71 countries on six continents – as well as millions more through television broadcasts, film screenings, and online platforms.

In Dubai Opera Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will perform eight outstanding works including the legendary REVELATION, reflecting the Company’s spectacular range, diversity and artistry.
