Aghani Al-Asheqeen is an instrumental musical group started its journey in 1977 in Damascus, Syria. The Al-Asheqeen transforms a traditional folk music and poems into short melodic songs suitable for stage productions and choreography performances. All group’s songs are based on the most renowned Palestinian poetry including such famous authors as Mahmoud Darwish, Sameeh Al-Qassim, Tawfiq Ziad.
This time the group will perform songs from the 1980s and 1990s, taking audiences on a nostalgic journey filled with soul and history of the old Palestine.
