The power of storytelling is at the very heart of A Thousand Tales, a captivating ballet production promising an enchanting evening for the entire family, taking place at Dubai Opera on the 4th and 5th April 2025.

A Thousand Tales Ballet, organised by SAMIT Event Group, marks the 3rd edition in the GCC region and will showcase world-class ballet artists from Alberta Ballet Canada, in a breathtaking performance choreographed by Francesco Ventriglia.

Presenting an original narrative inspired by various childhood literary classics, audiences will encounter a score of beloved characters throughout the show, brought to life by a talented cast of international dancers. Lang Ma (China) will portray the White Rabbit, while Alexandra Hughes (United States) will take on the role of Cinderella, with Kurtis Grimaldi (Canada) playing the part of her Prince. Arron Anker (United States), meanwhile, will appear as Snow White’s Prince, and Luna Sasaki (Japan) is set to dazzle as Snow White herself, while the duo will also be performing together as Beauty and the Beast. Mariko Kondo (Japan) will grace the stage as the White Swan, with Scotto Hamed-Ramos (United States) playing Rothbart. Kondo will also enchant as Jasmine, with Alfonso Maria Guerriero (Italy) as herAladdin.

Merging these influences together in an enthralling mix of intertextual and artistic fusion, A Thousand Tales invites audiences to travel along on a magical adventure within this fantasy world, set to a stunning score by Alexey Shor, including his popular suites for piano and orchestra, From My Bookshelf, Childhood Memories, and Travel Notebook. Attendees will also be able to experience a series of stunning costumes and exquisite set decorations designed by the renowned Roberta Guidi di Bagno and stage lighting from the hands of the talented Valerio Tiberi, that are guaranteed to immerse all viewers in this unique and mystical journey.

Promising a perfect world of dance and discovery that is sure to evoke cherished memories while creating lasting new ones for all, A Thousand Tales is set to be a truly unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages!
