Dubai Accessible Tourism International Summit

The second edition of the Dubai Accessible Tourism International Summit (DATIS) is coming on November 10-11 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

Dubai is hosting the Dubai Accessible Tourism International Summit (DATIS) which is a platform for discussing and solving issues related to the travel industry for people of determination. In the two-day event, the key leaders will discuss the importance of disability inclusion; there will be debates and talks held by figures within the community.

The main issues to be discussed during the 2nd edition of DATIS:

• Policy and Planning;
• Capacity Building, Information and Customer Service;
• Infrastructure and Facilities;
• Medical Tourism;
• Banking Services;
• Transportation and Communications means;
• Requirements of Tourists of Determination.

For the second year, the Summit will gather organizations, officials and international government officials and experts to strengthen the UAE’s efforts to make the country a preferred tourist destination for people with disabilities from all over the world.

Dubai is working to implement relevant laws and legislations to adapting smart solutions aiming to provide the best of services to this segment. Multiple tourism facilities will be adjusted to calling for collective action to provide adequate services that match People of Determination needs.
