Ras Al Khaimah reopens popular staycations and leisure facilities.

After a long time of lockdown, Ras Al Khaimah renews the operation of hotels, beaches, and desert breaks. With the opening of recreational business, Ras Al Khaimah becomes the ideal place for a spot of rest, relaxation, and just a good spend of time. Following a full sterilization program there have been opened:

• Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah
This hotel offers a luxe staycation situated between the Al Hamra Golf Course and the Arabian Sea, with a 350-meter private beach, two temperature-controlled pools, and a wide range of water sports.

• The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah – Al Hamra Beach (including Al Hamra Golf Club; Al Hamra Marina and Yacht Club)
The hotel offers staycation in a Bedouin-style tent with a private pool and views over the white sands. Also, the hotel welcomes guests to its Golf and Yacht Club, with keeping stringent safety measures in place.

The private hotel beaches in Ras Al Khaimah are already open, and after the supervision of the Public Services Department and the Department of Economic Development, public beaches get permission to reopen.

The beaches will be open at a reduced 30 percent capacity. Among the list of the rules – wearing face masks and gloves at all times; ban for children under 12 and adults over 60; strict social distancing of two meters. It’s been noted that barbecuing on the beaches is prohibited. The beaches are being strictly monitored and any violators will face fines.

In addition, Ras Al Khaimah opens malls and both men’s and women’s salons. However, there are movement restrictions applied during the National Disinfection Programme between 08:00 PM and 06:00 AM in the emirate.
