Parking in Dubai is Free for Two Weeks – to Support the Public During the Coronavirus - Coming Soon in UAE
31 March 2020

By decision of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), parking in Dubai for two weeks, from Tuesday, March 31 to Monday, April 13, will be absolutely free.

Such a decision is intended to support community members during the period of joint struggle against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The authorities have already developed a number of rules and recommendations for people and free parking can help to comply with them, as well as reduce the burden on those who will need parking. Paid parkings and multi-level parkings will be available throughout Dubai for those who in the current situation must move around the city and for those who remain at home in quarantine.

Among the measures taken are the National Disinfection Programme by the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Ministry of Interior. Due to disinfection work and in order to reduce the number of contacts, people are advised to stay at home and leave only if necessary.
