Hotel in Abu Dhabi Offers to Help in the Fight Against Coronavirus - Coming Soon in UAE
30 March 2020

Companies in the UAE offer assistance in the fight against coronavirus – the Millennium Hotels chain will provide rooms for health workers.

The Authority of Social Contribution Ma’an, established in February 2019 by the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, invites the entire community to participate in the Together We Are Good program. Together, individuals and organizations can support a common cause. In particular, all kinds of support for medical institutions and workers and other social needs are expected. Businesses and individuals can provide financial support, accommodation, food for social workers, and more.

Among the companies that support the community is the Millennium Hotels chain. The company has provided 60 comfortable rooms at its hotels in Abu Dhabi for healthcare professionals. Two hotels – Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi and Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi Downtown are located near Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, so specialists working there can quickly get to the hotels and relax. The hotel will also provide places for medical workers in other hotels, including in Dubai.

This kind of help is extremely important because, in the interval between caring for patients, doctors and medical workers should fully rest and recover. Payment for meals and additional services at the hotel is provided by Ma`an.

After the announcement of the launch of Together We Are Good program, many people and organizations have already expressed their willingness to donate their time, money and various necessary things, such as cars, places to stay and food, for the common good. In such challenging times, only through joint efforts can a community fight for the public health and prosperity of all its members.
