Dubai Waterparks to Reopen

Dubai Waterparks to Reopen - Coming Soon in UAE
18 June 2020

From Thursday, June 18, Dubai aquaparks set to reopen with limited capacity.

Previously, the government permitted waterparks in Dubai to reopen. Dubai Municipality has mandated operators of waterparks and water attractions in Dubai to ensure that all such facilities as slides, rides and pools undergo deep cleaning and water quality tests before they open gates.

Atlantis Aquaventure will be the first waterpark opening gates after lockdown. In keeping with the UAE government guidelines, Atlantis Aquaventure will be operating at 50 percent capacity. It is worth noting that tickets have to be booked in advance – they won’t be available at the gate.

Following waterpark confirmed reopening:
AquaFun;
Pearls Kingdom;
Splash’n’Party.

Among 38 rules there are social distancing, wearing face shields and masks when not in the pools or play zones, in addition, visitors have to bring their own towels and accessories when they visit waterparks, as they won’t be allowed to use these items from the facilities. The government issued special guidelines to waterpark operators that prevent visitors from sharing personal items that were contacted with the face and they are difficult to clean, sanitize, or disinfect, like goggles, nose clips, and snorkels.
