Special measures are being taken by the Dubai authorities to identify those who do not comply with the recommendation to stay home for the weekend when the National Disinfection Programme is held.

The programme, announced by the Ministry of Health Prevention and the Ministry of Interior, includes the disinfection of all public utilities and spaces in order to stop the spread of coronavirus. It is carried out throughout UAE from March 26 till March 29. Representatives of the commune should stay at home and leave only for urgent need or if their work is connected with the functioning of vital sectors.

In order to be away from home during the sterilization period, you need to request permission on the site movepermit.gov.ae. If there is no such permission, the violator of the recommendation will be fined.

Authorities may ask for confirmation that the person needs to be on the street. Dubai police also use radars to identify those who use the car during the National Disinfection Programme. Radars were reoriented to catch violators of the instruction from 08:00 PM till 06:00 AM, as police representatives explained in response to the fact that some motorists began to complain that they notice flashing even if the speed is not exceeded.

So if you want to leave the house, whether you are a pedestrian or a motorist, you need to request permission.
