COVID-19: Authorities Clarify Entry Rules for Residents | Coming Soon in UAE

UAE authorities updated travel requirements for travelers coming to Dubai Airport.

Dubai Airports issued the statement in response to delays last few days, it was confirmed that the delay was caused by updates in travel regulations, in line with the directives of UAE authorities. Now, Dubai residents flying to Dubai Airport will have to obtain approval from the GDRFA.

To receive GDRFA approval, you need:

  • Enter visa number, country, and year of birth;
  • Enter the country you’re traveling from and the port you’re arriving at DXB;
  • Enter email address;
  • Upload copies of supporting documents (visa, passport and Emirates ID);
  • On a payment page, choose “Free of Charge”;
  • Submit application;
  • The application will be “under process”, and then, you’ll receive an email with approval confirmed.

While non-Dubai residents flying into Dubai are required to obtain ICA approval.

To receive ICA approval, you need:

  • Enter is your Emirates ID number, passport number, passport type and nationality.
