People who need help or have suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic in UAE will be able to receive support with food during Ramadan.

The launch of the new campaign that was named «10 Million Meals» was initiated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The goal of the campaign is to support the whole society through the consolidation of all its representatives in common humanitarian aspirations.

Families with low income and those affected by the crisis will receive assistance by participating in «10 Million Meals» initiative. In turn, organizations and individuals are called upon to help; they will be able to make some financial donations or to purchase ready-made meals or food products for subsequent distribution to those in need. With the imminent onset of the holy month of Ramadan, people as well as companies and charity organisations across the country will be able to participate in a good cause.

The program will be carried out on a national scale, and overall guidance will be provided by The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, as well as the Social Solidarity Fund Against COVID-19. The initiative will be led by Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum.
