The Shadow Box, a unique play in Dubai

The Shadow Box, a unique play written by Michael Cristofer in 1977, will be presented to audiences in Dubai on September 20-22. Performances will be held on September 20 and 21 at 7:30 pm, and on September 22 at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm at The Junction Theatre.

“This 1977 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award Winner (Best Play), “The Shadow Box” is a compelling and beautifully discovered story about self-realization and sensitive perceptions, often as funny as it is deeply moving and eternally relevant. Its themes are universally relatable. The play follows three terminally-ill patients and their families as they cope with the reality of their illnesses and how the relationships with their loved ones are affected and unfold.
