Music in the Studio: Joseph Tawadros

The performance of Australian-Egyptian composer and award-winning oud player Joseph Tawadros will take place on 26th of September 2018 at the Dubai Opera.

Music in the Studio will continue to create unique musical experiences with a collective of independent artists and musicians, with four world-class performances, running from September to December.

Curated by internationally renowned pianist Amira Fouad, Music in the Studio is set in Dubai Opera’s acoustically flawless studio, allowing for a more atmospheric and unmissable experience between the musicians and their audiences.

Everyone can expect two rousing performances at the inaugural BBC Proms Dubai. Joseph is a warmly engaging performer, presenting a thrilling mix of world music, Middle Eastern music, jazz, classical ranging from traditional to contemporary sounds.

The Australian newspaper said that Joseph Tawadros is one of the most impressive musicians to emerge in Australia with a dazzling technique dispensing hair-raising tempos. His writing displays a real depth of emotion revelling in a zest for life and celebration.
