Emaar Says The Wind Tests are Completed on The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour

Emaar Properties announced the successful completion of advanced wind tunnel tests to confirm the structural strength and durability of its new tallest tower project in Dubai Creek Harbour.

Not only is the wind strong, it also behaves in complex ways when coming into contact with tall buildings, meaning there is more to building megastructures than just the aesthetic.

It is expected to be completed in time for Dubai Expo 2020, the same year that Jeddah’s Kingdom Tower – another contender for the world’s tallest building title – is due for completion.

Emaar has previously unveiled high-end residences in Dubai Creek Harbour including Dubai Creek Residences, Creekside 18, and Harbour Views homes in The Island District.
