Jumeirah Beach Road bridge will be fully opened this month.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Saturday opened two lanes of the six-lane Jumeirah Bridge as part of second phase of the Dubai Water Canal project.

On Friday, two lanes coming from Jumeirah 2 (north) heading towards Jumeirah 3 (south) will open, and all lanes will be in full operation in both directions starting on July 21, the RTA said.

Earlier this month, the RTA opened the southern bridge on Sheikh Zayed Road from Dubai to Abu Dhabi as part of the Dubai Water Canal Project’s first phase.
