Deira Mall – the majestic mall of the future

Beautiful panorama of Dubai is remarkable for its skyscrapers and unique buildings. And it is constantly replenished with new architectural creations and beautiful sights. Another ambitious construction project, which will be implemented in the coming years, will be the Deira Mall.

This majestic mall will appear in one of the most beautiful areas of Dubai, Deira Islands, which is comprised of four islands created by the hands of man. The developer of Deira Mall will be Nakheel Properties. According to the idea of the project’s creators, Deira Mall will become the center of a widespread Deira Boulevard, a modern community with several Deira Towers, which will house thousands of residential apartments, several hotels, hundreds of shops and entertainment centers.

The most notable architectural detail of the new mall is the central atrium, its walls will be made of glass. The length of the atrium is 1 km. The spectacular roof of this glass structure will be retractable.

It is planned that the area of Deira Mall will be more than 4,5 million sq. ft. of leasable space. Here will be placed more than a thousand fashion boutiques, restaurants, cafes, shops, sports zones, recreation centers. The mall will provide entertainment centers for the whole family, including for children — the total entertainment area will be about 15 000 sq. ft. Also part of the project is the parking zone for 12 500 parking spaces.

The beginning of construction is planned for the first quarter of 2018, and the estimated term for its completion is 2021. The amount of the contract for construction, which Nakheel signed with United Engineering Construction, is AED 4,2 billion.
